Hey. Should update more. Thought I only had two days to add
Wednesday: Lie in. Don't remember what I did that day but I did have a lecture. I didn't go out because of early lecture the next day
Thursday: Was pretty dull. Woke up early for lecture 1, heard about the Egypt dig that I really really want to do, but can't. Went home for a bit. Had second lecture. It started early (not sure why) and finished early too, at 4.30. Went home. Thursday night was spent at Millenium. It was really good! Until 3. We've realised that at 3 it changes. It turned into italian music and all the italians did weird dancing! haha Me and Lucie thought it was really weird. Also they didn't play the requests we put in earlier, but they did play Muse. I was happy about that. Got home v late as normal. Bed at about 4ish
Friday: Woke up late. Didn't have a lecture. I went out in the afternoon and looked for the watchmen comic in the international bookshop. They didn't have it, but I found one copy in the italian book. Its huge!! A4 size and v thick. After that I went to the music shop. I brought a french film that Lucie recommended to me. Its about a bunch of people on Erasmus in Barcelona! he he. We'll see if its anything like the real erasmus experience. I went home, ate, then I went to Lucies. We watched a horror film called Cube. It was interesting, and original. It didn't really have an ending as such, and alot of the film was unexplained. Still good though. Went home and read a bit before going to bed.

Tuesday
Yesterday was very dull and frustrating. I turned up to my 9am lecture but no one was there. I realised that I'd forgotten that he'd said the day before that there would be no lecture that morning. Felt stupid.
Spent the rest of the day down in the library in the boiling heat trying to read. It took me hours to get through this one chapter and then I found all the info in diagrams in end of the chapter. The chapter was still useful though as it explained it all. When I finished it I read it all again and it made proper sense finally. I still have the rest of the book to get through though. He never turns up to lectures so I spose i'm pretty much teaching myself. Its a thick book though, which scares me.
In the evening I didn't do anything, just chatted to people online. I had a good chat with David Slavens (my cousin) randomly. He was doing a biology project and wanted to know peoples colour eyes.

Ieri (yesterday) Monday
Hello!
Normal lecture in the morning. Had lunch at the canteen. Again no second lecture, what the hell is he playing at!!!, and so I went home at about 3. At half 5 I got myself some food and at 6 lef the flat to meet Lucie. We met and went to the cinema to see Watchmen. When we arrived we saw Christina's friends Jennifer and her boyfriend. We sat down and chatted until the film came on.
It was so good! I'll do a review on my other blog. Gory as hell and very messed up. The characters were good, and one of them reminded me of the Joker in Batman. The ending was a little confusing though.
We ended up talking to these italians in the loo on the way out. I also saw Martin the phd student from Leicester, hes going back in 2 weeks! its all going so fast!
Me and Lucie went home, and I went online for a while and then went to bed. Good day

Sunday
Just a quick blog.
Sunday was spent idly mostly. I spent most of the day trying to get through to mum, but she was out alot. I had woken up late and was tired the whole day. I tried to do some writing but I couldn't concentrate properly on it. More time spent on skype. I managed during the course of the day to talk to: izzy, dad, Jules and Jenny but only got to talk to mum at the end! it was still good though.
In the evening went for aperativo with Lucie and Charlotte. It was Charlottes last night. It was really fun, we chatted alot, had good food and took photos. Fun was had by all. At about 10 we left and went home. I went online for an hour or so then to bed

Friday and Saturday
Right.
Friday was dull enough not to need talking about. Lecture was on Mead, reminds me to wiki her
Saturday morning I got up too early. Spent some time on skype wishing my mum Happy Birthday. The connection was alot better than it is in the evenings, no idea why. In the afternoon I went to the museum. I went round two exhibits. One was the prehistory exhibt, and it was really interesting. I also spent time before entering the musem in the beautiful courtyard that's outside it. The prehistory exhibit had a class of schoolkids there, but I went round in my own time and it was good. Well spaced out, well explained and very modern. There was one small room at the side literally filled from floor to ceiling with various flints from all over the world and all over Italy. It was a bit much to take in.
Then I went to the Etruscan exhibit. That was interesting because I had been studying it last term. Everything was bigger than I imagined. They had a princesses tomb there, which was amazing, complete with throne, stools and pots with food in. There was row upon row of glass cases with cremations in. The grave goods were intersting but there was so many! They had mock ups of how the urns would have been buried, which was helpful. This room led onto a massive long room mostly filled with cases and I started to get bored. Museums need to modernise and this felt like it came from the 1930s.
I got hungry so I went home. Rest of the day was filled idly with nothing much. In the evening I went out with Lucie and Charlotte. It was pretty fun most of the time. I left early as they wanted to stay until half past 3!! We went inside this weird cage they have there. I went home at about 2.30.

Thursday
Right. Yesterday was pretty dull but as I said i'd blog as much as I can I better do it.
Had 9am egyptian lecture. It was on Ramesess temple.
Between lectures I went home and got lunch and read Twilight more!
At half two I set off on my new route to my lecture, the back way. It went well and I got there early. The lecture was another one on Kroeber, this german anthropologist and two women called Britget something and Margaret Mead. This made me think of mead the drink. My concentration was very low by the end of the lecture, theres only so many hours of trying to concentrate on someone talking in a language you don't speak that can be done in a day.
Went home, normal eating and things were done. I was going to go out and see friends, but it was raining when I went out the door so I came back in and went to bed instead, seeing as it was quite late.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Hey. Updates are getting slower, i'll try and rectify that.
Monday: I got early as I had my exam. Got there on time, added myself to the list of examinees, at the end. Sat there alternately stressing out and doing revision. I was there the whole morning and I got so hungry. Unfortunately it was the one day I forgot to take my wallet with me. Sods law. So I was there, starving, and couldn't leave as I had no idea when they were changing people around. Eventually at about 1 I had my exam. It went really badly. I knew alot more than I did in the last exam, but she was alot less sympathetic. She found me a book in English on the subject and begged me to read it, which was a bit embarassing. At the end I thought she was going to fail me, but she wrote 28. I was a bit shocked, but happy. The rest of the day I relaxed.
Tuesday: Had my normal 9-11 lecture, ate lunch in the uni canteen and read some twilight in Italian. I also did a bit of uni work when I realised that lecture wasn't happening. This always happens and they never tell you. Oh well. In the evening it was St Patricks day so I went out. Lucie has her friend Charlotte over so I went to meet up with them. Shes so lovely. We wanted to go to the Irish pub, but there was so many people on the pavement outside. We checked the English pub, but immediately came out again as it was too loud to talk. We decided to go to Bar lime in the end, which was useful as I got to use up all my saved 2 for 1 tickets. We had drinks and chatted and it was really fun. Mostly I spoke french and they spoke a mix of French and English. We all got along really well. At about 11 Lydia et al arrived, which was fun, and shortly after Lucie and Charlotte left. Chatter and drinks were carried on, and a whole bunch of English people showed up. Talk went on and I had a good chat with Hannah.
Wednesday: Strike day (surprise :p) so no lectures. I spent the day getting various things done, reading my Italian Twilight and being online. In the evening I had an arguement with my housemate about cleaning, which made me a emotionally exhauted. I went to bed early.

Last week
I apologise profusely for not having updated all week. My week was alternately very dull and very stressful and hence I was too busy to blog.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were normal days. I was upset on Tuesday and Wednesday, as I should have been in London seeing a gig, but it was ok in the end.
Thursday and Friday
Saturday and Sunday were stressful. They consisted of stressing over exam revision and procrastination.

Sunday
Sunday was cool. I got up late and it was all sunny. I was in such a good mood. I just pottered around the house the whole day and got things done, like the cleaning and stuff.
I also got washing done, but it didn't spin so that caused some hassle, but its all sorted out now.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Hey. Sorry for the delay in blogs but theres really not much to write about. Lectures, food shopping, cleaning flat etc. Nothing interesting. Thursday night I hid from a night out as i'd been so tired the whole week. Friday noone went out anyway.
Yesterday was fairly dull but the weather has suddenly turned good. It was sunny and fairly mild temperature wise. I did a big shop for the next week and brought veg to munch on. I'm planning to make ragu tonight (aka Bolognese). Last night me and Lucie went out but the music was horrific and we had a boring time. The only silver lining was that one of my cocktails tasted really nice and fruity. Dissapointing night though, hopefully next week will make up for it.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Hey again.
Not much has been going on this week so far. I've been very tired every day for some reason. Having early starts isn't good. I arrived back safely Monday morning and went home. All three days have been filled with normal lectures however I have had some good evenings.
Tuesday night I went for a drink with les anglais :D Hannah and Lydia turned up with a card, a prezzie and a cake! I was amazed. The present was a really nice blue scarf. We got a drink and chatted about lots of things and then Tina turned up too and we all had cake. They had brought a knife and candels and a lighter, so organised! It was lovely to see them and we all had a great chat. It was a bit awkward when I tried to explain why I went home, but other than that it was all good.
Last night (Wednesday) I went to meet my language partner. He's called Valerio, he's originally from Calabria and he works for the uni at the moment before starting masters soon. He's ok, but hes a few years older than me and is more serious. We didn't really hit it off but the conversation was plesant enough. My Italian was surprisingly better than I had expected and he talked English to me too.
Finally, the other day I finished chapter 14 of my Midnight Sun. Editing has been done once but needs re doing over again. Watch this space!

Long time no blog
Hi again! I'm really sorry about the massive gap! Basically Victor and Tatiana my Brazillian flatmates left here and disconnected the internet. I didn't have internet for a while and it distressed me greatly ha ha. Now its all back on and I have some catching up to do.
This weekend I was home! Sunday morning I woke up very tired, waited around Potters, went to see Molly and then came home. The afternoon and evening was spent en famille. It was v nice.
Saturday was my birthday! The morning I got up lesiurely and opened prezzies and stuff and got ready to go out. I took the train to Leicester and phoned people but everyone was busy so I got a pastie and went to the dry dock. Molly arrived soon later and we got chatting and phoned people. Everyone said they would come later. Potter arrived and said hi between shifts and that he would be back. Later on Matt arrived. We spent a long time drinking, chatting and discussing the Louis Theroux look alike on the other table. It was v funny.
At about half 6 everyone started arriving! Pretty much all of the vike came! I was so happy. What followed after was alot of crudeness, silly photos, many jokes and lots of fun. Miranda gave me her comic and it was amazing! Molly got very very drunk and was all over Pony. Sam and Sam from my course arrived, it was so so great to see them! I told them all about Italy and they gave me updates. More sillyness with vike and I phoned home to tell mum i'd be staying at Potter's. I spoke to Sam again and they had the Italian girl who was taking my place with them! I was amazed and we chatted about everything there. Then she got in a small rant about english food haha. Then everyone started to leave until it was just Pete and a few others. We walked Molly to nixon as she was so drunk, and we made lots of innuendo about Pony and he went with her. We left Liz and me Pete and Potter walked on, then we all went to his for a drink. A while after me and Potter walked back to his and we went to bed.
Friday I woke up really tired from the night before. I did almost nothing all day, I went online and packed up for the evening. I had packed and left but walking to the bus stop took me longer than I had realised but the bus was timetabled then. It was very late and I stressed. I got to the airport at the same time as the gates closed but by some miracle it was still boarding when I got through and it was all OK. I arrived back in England and mum and Izzy came to get me. It was so nice of them, then I went right to bed when we got back.

We went in and there was a band playing (I was worried there would be bands all night, we hadn't come for a gig) they were playing arctic monkeys songs but the lyrics were weird cuz it was Italians singing. We got a drink and went to listen. The second band were amazing. One guy on violin playing the melody, no singing, along with bass and drums. All three guys were obviously massively competent musicians. It was amazing to watch. At about 1.30 that stopped and the DJ began. He played awesome music and there was much dancing. It got really packed and at about 2 Lydia, Christina and Eloisa arrived to join us. The music was amazing, I requested Muse and most of the music was British Indie and it was great! I had such an awesome time and we stayed really late. The music went weird about 3am, and we left at half past. I hadn't enjoyed being out so much in a long long time. We also saw Lackie there, he was drunk again and being overly touchy, its really weird but at least it was only to Lydia and not me. Still, a fun time was hopefully had by all and now I just have to pursuade Lucie to come as much as she can! She owes me for all the nights out we've been on.
