Just a quick blog.
Sunday was spent idly mostly. I spent most of the day trying to get through to mum, but she was out alot. I had woken up late and was tired the whole day. I tried to do some writing but I couldn't concentrate properly on it. More time spent on skype. I managed during the course of the day to talk to: izzy, dad, Jules and Jenny but only got to talk to mum at the end! it was still good though.
In the evening went for aperativo with Lucie and Charlotte. It was Charlottes last night. It was really fun, we chatted alot, had good food and took photos. Fun was had by all. At about 10 we left and went home. I went online for an hour or so then to bed

Friday and Saturday
Right.
Friday was dull enough not to need talking about. Lecture was on Mead, reminds me to wiki her
Saturday morning I got up too early. Spent some time on skype wishing my mum Happy Birthday. The connection was alot better than it is in the evenings, no idea why. In the afternoon I went to the museum. I went round two exhibits. One was the prehistory exhibt, and it was really interesting. I also spent time before entering the musem in the beautiful courtyard that's outside it. The prehistory exhibit had a class of schoolkids there, but I went round in my own time and it was good. Well spaced out, well explained and very modern. There was one small room at the side literally filled from floor to ceiling with various flints from all over the world and all over Italy. It was a bit much to take in.
Then I went to the Etruscan exhibit. That was interesting because I had been studying it last term. Everything was bigger than I imagined. They had a princesses tomb there, which was amazing, complete with throne, stools and pots with food in. There was row upon row of glass cases with cremations in. The grave goods were intersting but there was so many! They had mock ups of how the urns would have been buried, which was helpful. This room led onto a massive long room mostly filled with cases and I started to get bored. Museums need to modernise and this felt like it came from the 1930s.
I got hungry so I went home. Rest of the day was filled idly with nothing much. In the evening I went out with Lucie and Charlotte. It was pretty fun most of the time. I left early as they wanted to stay until half past 3!! We went inside this weird cage they have there. I went home at about 2.30.

Thursday
Right. Yesterday was pretty dull but as I said i'd blog as much as I can I better do it.
Had 9am egyptian lecture. It was on Ramesess temple.
Between lectures I went home and got lunch and read Twilight more!
At half two I set off on my new route to my lecture, the back way. It went well and I got there early. The lecture was another one on Kroeber, this german anthropologist and two women called Britget something and Margaret Mead. This made me think of mead the drink. My concentration was very low by the end of the lecture, theres only so many hours of trying to concentrate on someone talking in a language you don't speak that can be done in a day.
Went home, normal eating and things were done. I was going to go out and see friends, but it was raining when I went out the door so I came back in and went to bed instead, seeing as it was quite late.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Hey. Updates are getting slower, i'll try and rectify that.
Monday: I got early as I had my exam. Got there on time, added myself to the list of examinees, at the end. Sat there alternately stressing out and doing revision. I was there the whole morning and I got so hungry. Unfortunately it was the one day I forgot to take my wallet with me. Sods law. So I was there, starving, and couldn't leave as I had no idea when they were changing people around. Eventually at about 1 I had my exam. It went really badly. I knew alot more than I did in the last exam, but she was alot less sympathetic. She found me a book in English on the subject and begged me to read it, which was a bit embarassing. At the end I thought she was going to fail me, but she wrote 28. I was a bit shocked, but happy. The rest of the day I relaxed.
Tuesday: Had my normal 9-11 lecture, ate lunch in the uni canteen and read some twilight in Italian. I also did a bit of uni work when I realised that lecture wasn't happening. This always happens and they never tell you. Oh well. In the evening it was St Patricks day so I went out. Lucie has her friend Charlotte over so I went to meet up with them. Shes so lovely. We wanted to go to the Irish pub, but there was so many people on the pavement outside. We checked the English pub, but immediately came out again as it was too loud to talk. We decided to go to Bar lime in the end, which was useful as I got to use up all my saved 2 for 1 tickets. We had drinks and chatted and it was really fun. Mostly I spoke french and they spoke a mix of French and English. We all got along really well. At about 11 Lydia et al arrived, which was fun, and shortly after Lucie and Charlotte left. Chatter and drinks were carried on, and a whole bunch of English people showed up. Talk went on and I had a good chat with Hannah.
Wednesday: Strike day (surprise :p) so no lectures. I spent the day getting various things done, reading my Italian Twilight and being online. In the evening I had an arguement with my housemate about cleaning, which made me a emotionally exhauted. I went to bed early.

Last week
I apologise profusely for not having updated all week. My week was alternately very dull and very stressful and hence I was too busy to blog.
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were normal days. I was upset on Tuesday and Wednesday, as I should have been in London seeing a gig, but it was ok in the end.
Thursday and Friday
Saturday and Sunday were stressful. They consisted of stressing over exam revision and procrastination.

Sunday
Sunday was cool. I got up late and it was all sunny. I was in such a good mood. I just pottered around the house the whole day and got things done, like the cleaning and stuff.
I also got washing done, but it didn't spin so that caused some hassle, but its all sorted out now.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Hey. Sorry for the delay in blogs but theres really not much to write about. Lectures, food shopping, cleaning flat etc. Nothing interesting. Thursday night I hid from a night out as i'd been so tired the whole week. Friday noone went out anyway.
Yesterday was fairly dull but the weather has suddenly turned good. It was sunny and fairly mild temperature wise. I did a big shop for the next week and brought veg to munch on. I'm planning to make ragu tonight (aka Bolognese). Last night me and Lucie went out but the music was horrific and we had a boring time. The only silver lining was that one of my cocktails tasted really nice and fruity. Dissapointing night though, hopefully next week will make up for it.
