Monday

Yesterday I woke up early and got ready for my 9am lecture. urgh! Last week seemed to be going so well with the understanding lectures but this week it felt like it was back in the beginning with understanding nothing. I was also very tired. After the lecture I met up with Lucie and we went to find this office where they were selling ESN cards. ESN is erasmus student network and its an organisation that puts on fun things for erasmus students to do while they're at the new uni. There was going to be a film that evening that we wanted to see and you needed the card. It was shut (typically Italian) but there was another french girl there and we got chatting. Shes called Lynda and shes really pretty (*grumble grumble*). After that I went home, got something to eat and prepared for the next 4 hours of lectures :( They were really tough. The first hour is normally ok, after that my concentration really startes to wane. The first lecture went ok, and there was a break between the two. The second one however was really bad. The lecturer has such an accent that I can't understand him at all. The one saving grace however was that he put up loads of stuff on the powerpoint so I could copy from it. Thats alot more helpful than the other lecturerers, but to be honest, I need that help seeing as how bad I am at understanding him. He talked about archaeological theory, which i've already studied. After the lecture I went home and ate a bit and spoke to mum on skype. I arranged to meet up with Lucie and Lynda at a bar for drinks but then thought that it would be better if those two got to know each other first. I text Lucie telling her that, and que massive communciation breakdown. I thought she was upset with me, and anyway it all got sorted out and I did meet them and it was all fine. Then I went to bed
